1. How to start using the Connect solution
How do I start using the Connect solution?
Create an account at www.agcoconnect.com. You need to fill in your email address and agree to the Terms of Use.
After that, you will receive an a confirmation email. Follow the instructions in the email. After that you can activate your account and then log in to AGCO Connect at www.agcoconnect.com.
Please also check your Junk/Spam email folder. Since emails are filtered by the receiving servers, we cannot guarantee that the confirmation mail might land in your Junk/Spam. The mail will be sent from ”no-reply.agcoconnect@agcocorp.com”
After you have logged in, select the My Fleet view from the navigation pane on the left and then click on Add Machine. You will need the Tractor chassis number ( VIN number) for each machine you wish to activate. The VIN number can be found under the fuse cover on the right-hand side of the driver’s seat, or alternately on the metal sign mounted on the rear exterior of the machine.
In Connect, click on Add Machine, and then enter your country and your dealer / service center and fill in other details.
After adding your machine, the authorized maintenance service provider will verify your account.
AGCO Connect is also available as a mobile app on your iPhone or iPad from the AppStore or to your Android devices from Google Play. The mobile application uses the same account as the desktop version.
Note: The mobile app cannot be used to create a user account. Instead, the user account must be created via an Internet browser at www.agcoconnect.com.
Which machines can use AGCO Connect?
AGCO machines with a telemetry device have the capability to be on AGCO Connect. To check if your machine is AGCO Connect ready please use our Connect VIN tracker.
2. Using the Connect solution
How do I use the AGCO Connect service on a desktop computer?
Log in at www.agcoconnect.com. If you have not created an account, please follow the introductory guidelines described in section 1.
The Connect solution provides lots of near real-time information. For example, users gain access to both near real-time and history data for various metrics, ranging from oil temperature and boost pressure to PTO speed, and the status of the transmission. You can also see when the tractor requires maintenance. In addition, the tractor’s operating instructions are easily available.
How do I use Connect on a mobile device or tablet?
Using connect on smart phones and tablets is easy and effortless. The free mobile app for iphones and ipads is available from the app store and from Google Play for android devices.
Does the mobile app require logging in for each session?
No, the mobile app does not require logging in every time you use it. The app retains your login information for easy daily use.
On which smartphones and tablets can Connect be used?
For iOS devices (iPhone and iPad), the Valtra Connect mobile application runs on iOS versions 10 to 11. For Android mobile devices, Android version 6 to 8 is required.
A separate version of the app for tablets is not yet available. However, it is possible to download and run the Connect mobile app on tablets or to use the desktop version through a browser at www.agcoconnect.com.
On which desktop web browsers can I use Connect?
Connect works with most common web browsers and their latest versions. Mozilla is the most recommended web browser, whereas Internet Explorer versions older than 11.0 do not support the use of Connect.
Is the data lost if the tractor loses its Internet connection?
When cell signal is lost the machine will continue to collect and store data until cell signal is restored. It will collect for 48 hours then the oldest information will be deleted as new information is collected.
How does the mobile app notify the user when a fault is detected in the tractor?
With cell signal strength the service will inform the authorized maintenance service provider immediately when a fault is detected. The maintenance service provider can find out the reason for the fault code with the help of AGCO Connect fault finder. The service will also inform the user immediately when the fault is detected. The user interface includes fault code information and a “call now” button through which the customer can contact the maintenance service provider directly.
Does the maintenance service provider fix faults detected without customer knowing about them?
The service will inform the authorized maintenance service provider when the fault is detected. The maintenance service provider will fix the problem only if the customer has given his or her consent to do this.
3. Adding multiple tractors or users to the Connect solution
How many tractors is it possible to add to Connect solution?
The number of tractors that you can add to the solution is not limited, and the user can add all compatible AGCO tractors by registering them into the system at www.agcoconnect.com. If you wish later to change the number of monitored tractors, you can make the changes at www.agcoconnect.com.
Can the tractor owner give access to the service also to his/her employees?
Yes, the tractor owner can also give access to their employees. This is done by sharing the machine to a user by adding his / her email address. Then he / she has to active her account in the same manner as described in section 1.
How many employees can be added to Connect?
The number of users is not limited.
Can the tractor owner manage employees’ access to information between different tractors?
The tractor owner can limit the employees’ access to information between different tractors.
How can the tractor owner manage employees’ access to the tractor data?
The tractor owner can manage employees’ access to the data stream of different tractors by logging in at www.agcoconnect.com.
4. Username and password
What do I do if I forget my password?
You can reset the password at www.agcoconnect.com by clicking “forgot password” at the bottom of the login page and by entering your email address. The service will send an email with a link to create a new password.
Can I use my own SIM card in the tractor’s telemetry unit?
No, the AGCO Connect service is integrated into AGCOs own system, so the use of a customer’s own data connection is not possible.
5. Pricing
What does the price of the service consist of?
The price of the service consists of telecommunications, facilities, backups, and a secure operating system. It also includes an unlimited number of users, use of the collected data and access to the service (mobile and desktop).
6. Fault conditions and usage problems
Where can I ask for help if Connect does not work?
You can ask for help using the service by contacting your local authorized dealer or service.
What do I do if the telemetry unit is not collecting data?
If you suspect that the telemetry unit is not collecting data properly, please contact your local authorized dealer or service.
What if my browser is not working?
If your browser is not working, please check that you are using the latest version of the web browser and that your Internet connection is working.
What do I do if the mobile app is not working?
- Make sure that your network connection is working
- Check that when logging in, your email address and passwords are correct.
- Update the latest version of the mobile app from the AppStore or Google Play.
- Make sure that you have installed the latest version of the operating system on your phone.
- If the mobile application is not working after these steps, please contact your local AGCO authorized dealer or service.
7. Collecting and using data
Can AGCO or an authorized maintenance service provider see the data collected from my tractor even if I haven't subscribed to the AGCO Connect service?
No, neither ACGO nor an authorized maintenance service provider can access this data without the customer first granting them access. The service complies with GDPR data privacy regulations.
Can I use AGCO Connect without granting an authorized maintenance service provider access to the data collected?
No, when using Connect solution the customer always uses the service via a secure cloud service. Using the service without a secure cloud service is not possible. The customer can decide which authorized maintenance service provider has access to the information. The service complies with GDPR data privacy regulations.
What information will AGCO save if I cancel my subscription?
If the customer cancels the subscription, she/he can request AGCO to remove all the personal data collected. However, the customer has no access to the data without an active subscription. The service complies with GDPR data privacy regulations.
Does AGCO have the right to sell data that the service has collected?
No, AGCO has no right to sell data that the service has collected to a third party without the customer’s permission.
Is data collected from the tractor saved after canceling the subscription?
Data collected will be kept in storage for a certain time period after cancellation of the subscription. Data is available only when the subscription is active.
Can collected data be imported after canceling my subscription?
All the data collected will be saved to a AGCO database. It is not possible to reliably import the data from the service that the tractor has collected. After a customer cancels the subscription, the data saved to the AGCO database will be removed or anonymized. .
Can AGCO use the collected data for their own product development?
Yes, AGCO can use data collected with the service in an anonymized form for the purpose of product development.
8. Information security
Who has access to the collected data?
Only a restricted number of parties, all approved by AGCO, can access the collected data. These parties are:
- AGCO corporation’s employees
- Persons AGCO uses for information profiling for marketing purposes
- Parties that have a right to access the data due to judiciary obligation
- AGCO resellers, distributors, or business partners
- AGCO companies
In addition, we do share or reveal personal data in instances when it is necessary in order to abide by the law, to respond to legal processes, to protect our customers, to protect human lives or to upkeep the information security of services, and to protect AGCO rights and property. The service complies with GDPR data privacy regulations.
How secure is the Connect solution?
Connect complies with the general information security requirements and regulations.
How is information security implemented?
The data the tractor’s telemetry unit is collecting is protected. Furthermore, the Connect solution operates on a high-security cloud service.
Is personal information required in order to activate the subscription?
Connect requires this personal data for registering with Connect. Subscription requires a service center to be attached to a customer to get a subscription.
How is personal data protected?
AGCO has taken the necessary technical and organizational measures in order to protect all personal data.
Is the data collected backed up?
Yes, the data AGCO Connect collects is backed up.
Will version updates be available in the future?
Yes, mobile app version updates will be available to fix any possible bugs and to introduce new features to the service.
Are the service’s new features automatically enabled?
Most of the new features will be included in the price, but in the future, it is possible that some features will be available at an extra charge.
Where will the data collected be stored and maintained?

9. Cancelling a Connect subscription
How cancel my Connect subscription?
The Connect service subscription can be cancelled at any time.
The use of the service is always charged until the end of the existing billing period.
The solution can be cancelled online at www.agcoconnect.com.
Does the tractor's telemetry unit have to be returned if I cancel my subscription?
No, the tractor’s telemetry unit does not need to be returned when the subscription is cancelled. After canceling the subscription, the telemetry unit will stop working and will not collect any data.
Should the tractor’s telemetry unit be disposed of if I cancel my subscription?
No, the telemetry unit is integrated with the tractor and should not be disposed of. After cancelling the subscription, the telemetry unit will stop working and will not collect any data.
10. Pricing and the validity of the service agreement
Is the service agreement valid for an indefinite period?
Yes, the subscription is by default valid until further notice. If needed, it is possible to cancel the subscription immediately or at the end of the three-year period (introductory offering).
How is the contract period determined?
The contract period starts from the day the maintenance service provider activates the tractor, which should occur with the warranty registration. You can check the beginning of the contract period by logging in at www.agcoconnect.com.
Do I have to enter my credit card information to use the solution?
No, using Connect does not require entering personal credit card information.
If I cancel my subscription at the beginning of the contract period, will a refund be offered for the remaining contract period already paid for?
The service is charged for a 12-month period in one installment. When cancelling the service in the middle of the contract period, no refund for the rest of the contract period will be offered.
Am I entitled to compensation if the service does not work?
Any possible compensation is specified in the Connect user agreement.
